How to study from college

There are many tips to help college students succeed while attending college, and to succeed in life.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Quiet room
  • Study material
  1. Step 1

The first tip is to always get plenty of sleep before class, and to make sure that you eat a good breakfast. Make sure not to eat too much though, because digestion will use too much energy and make you tired in class. The more sleep you get, the easier it will be for your brain to take in the information that your professor is giving you.

  2. Step 2

The first tip is to always get plenty of sleep before class, and to make sure that you eat a good breakfast. Make sure not to eat too much though, because digestion will use too much energy and make you tired in class. The more sleep you get, the easier it will be for your brain to take in the information that your professor is giving you.

  3. Step 3

Depending on how anxious or nervous of a person you are will depend on how you take tests. There are millions of students in the world that have what they call "test anxiety". This causes the nerves of students to actually overcome the intelligence level of the student, and possibly lead them to the wrong answer on the test. This is a big problem on college campuses all over the world, but being prepared and studying can help with the anxiety. Make sure that you know what material to review, where to find it, and also make sure to set enough time aside to review it. Concentration is limited to a few hours normally, so give yourself breaks. Make sure to not let them be too long though, or it might lead to incomplete studying. On the day of the test, just relax and answer the questions in a timely manner. Some tests are timed, so just make sure you have enough time to answer all the questions. The instructor knows how long it should take a normal student that knows the material within a few minutes, so as long as you know the material you should be ok.

  4. Step 4

Free time is a big part of the college experience, but just make sure you don't get carried away with partying and other activities. Remember that your goal is to get through college and get the job you want, not to party your schooling away and forget everything you know. Remember to make sure that you don't party the night before class, and especially not before an exam. It's ok to have fun in college (that's sometimes the best part), but don't overdo it.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure your atmosphere is quiet.
  • Study = Bad Grades, shall I say more?
