How to Get Luigi on Super Mario 64 DS
Super Mario 64 DS is a slightly updated version of the original Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64 that allows gamers to play as characters other than Mario, including Yoshi, Luigi and Wario. The game is for the Nintendo DS portable console and utilizes the touch-screen capability of the DS by allowing players to grab coins and complete other tasks with a stylus pen on the touch screen. In order to play the new characters in the game, you must complete various tasks to get a key that unlocks the character. You can then play the game from the beginning as the new character.

Enter the castle and go up to the second floor to the door located on the wall to the right. Enter the door and jump below the red block to get the power flower.

Perform a backflip into the secret attic after jumping below the red block and then jump into the Luigi painting. You will have entered the Big Boo's Haunt course. Enter the first door on the right and then make it across the platform to the next room.

Jump to the middle platform and then jump to the ledge on the right. Enter the room and then run over to the blue platform on the left. Run quickly across the collapsing bridge in the next room.

Jump onto each platform until you reach the tunnel at the end. You will then enter a room with a large mirror. Walk to the mirror and move your C stick to change the camera angle. You will see the reflection of your character turn into Luigi.

Finish the level by defeating King Boo. Press the "A" and "B" buttons at the same time and then down to do a ground pound attack. Also, punch King Boo from behind as he floats over you. After defeating King Boo, a key will fall down. Pick up the key and you'll have unlocked Luigi.
