Find access to a fax machine that has international coverage. If you do not own one, try to use a machine at your work place or pay to use one at an office supplies store.

Find out if you have to dial 9 to reach whomever you will be contacting. Some businesses require that you dial 9 in order to make contact by phone or fax.

Dial the international country code for the United Kingdom. This number is "44" and you must dial it to make international faxes.

Dial Australia's international country code. This number is "61."

Dial Australia's city code and local phone number. Go to the Kropla website for a list of Australia's city codes (see Resources). Press send to complete the fax. The machine will let you know if it was successful or not.
