How to Get Unlimited Internet for Free

The Internet provides you with the ability to access any kind of information imaginable. However, there is usually a price for this convenience, and when using the Internet at home you will have to pay a monthly fee for the access. Luckily, there are a few different ways you can use the Internet all you want for free without having to sign up for any services.

1. Power on a computer that is capable of receiving a wireless signal. Search the signal to see if there are any unlocked wireless networks within range. Some cities are wired for all-over wireless access, which will not cost you a dime. If one is detected, select it and you will be able to use the Internet (see Resources).

2. Take your laptop computer to a facility that offers free wireless Internet access. Most coffee shops will have this available.

3. Go to your local library. There are computers there with Internet access and allow you to use them for free. There may be a time limit, though, if others are waiting to use the Internet.

4. Go to a school building if you are located near a college or university. Often there will be computer centers that you can have access to (double-check to see if locals are allowed to use the computer). If you are not allowed to use the computers, the buildings will normally have wireless access as well, and many coffee shops and lounges around campus will also have this service.
