The wedding cake draws attention to itself, meaning the table it sits on should accent the cake, not overpower it. Use the wedding cake design to choose how to arrange the table. If the cake is tall, put several tapered candles around it to accent the height. See if the cake has flowers. Use those types of petals to decorate the table. Match the tablecloth to the dominant icing color to further accent the cake.
