If you have fine hair, then you know how hard it is to hold style. The best do’ for you should bring life and volume, as well as be long lasting. Follow this step by step guide to create beautiful beachy waves that look like they are right off the red carpet. Or maybe the shores of the Caribbean…

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Two ponytails to hold braids
  • 1.5" curling iron (Hot Tools strongly recommended)
  • Hairspray
  1. Step 1

The night before the wavy do’, divide hair into two sections and braid. For tighter waves you will want to add more sections and braid, and vice versa for a looser look.

  2. Step 2

    In the morning unbraid hair.

  3. Step 3

Using a 1.5” curling iron (Hot tools is recommended), wrap 2” sections of hair around the barrel away from the face. For smaller, more defined waves you may want to use a smaller curling iron. Do not use clamp. Hold for ten to fifteen seconds.

  4. Step 4

Repeat all over head until reaching desired results.

  5. Step 5

Spray with a flexible hairspray about 10” away for a long lasting hold that won’t fall flat.
