Find a Job When The Economy Is Bad
Find a Job When The Economy Is Bad

This article will help your average joe find a job in a declining economy.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Its never a good time when the economy is in a recession, especially if you are currently unemployed.

  2. Step 2

Begin by looking in your local newspapers, in the classifies section. Many jobs will be posted here ranging from non-professional jobs to professional jobs.

  3. Step 3

If the local paper doesn't work, try driving around, just a casual cruise around the city keeping an eye on "help wanted" and "now hiring" signs.

  4. Step 4

If you still have no luck, try looking online. Which many jobs nowadays are posted online, try sites such as, monster.com, careerbuilder.com, jobs.com, snagajob.com, and craigslist.

  5. Step 5

If you do end up getting calls asking for an interview, remember to act and dress professionally. Firm hand shakes, and yes sir answers are always a bonus.

  6. Step 6

In the end don't be picky, a begger can't be a chooser and even if the job you get only makes minimum wage its better than a no paying job.
