Instructions

    • 1

Find an old kitchen towel. Use linen, cotton or terrycloth.

    • 2

Lay the towel face down on a table. Take the top corners and fold in and down. Use an iron to crease the edges of your folds.

    • 3

Sew corners down, leaving a sleeve from top to bottom of each corner to insert your ribbon. Use ribbon that is 1 inch wide and at least 48 inches long. Thread the ribbon up through one corner sleeve and down through the other sleeve.

    • 4

Turn the towel face up. Take the bottom of the towel and fold up to a desired height. Iron and sew the outside edge from the bottom of the fold up to the end of towel that you folded over. You will now have one big pocket. Sew an additional line or two, from top to bottom of fold to create additional pockets. You now have one practical craft apron for children or adults alike.
