Instructions

    • 1

Move all of the furniture and other items in the room out so that you have space to maneuver. Plug the sander in and begin sanding the floor in long fluid motions. Make sure to follow the grain of the wood so you do not gouge the floor.

    • 2

Sand the floor just enough to wear the old finish off, but not so deep as to gouge into the wood. Use the vacuum to clean up all of the dust created by sanding and then wipe down with the soap and water.

    • 3

Apply four thin coats of Polyx hardwood wax, allowing each coat to thoroughly dry before applying the next coat. Allow the wax to dry for at least 48 hours before moving furniture into the room again.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use clear plastic tarp to cover doorways and windows in an effort to keep all of the dust contained within the one room you are working on.
