How to Add a New Mail Account on an Apple Computer
Adding a new email account on an Apple computer is easy using the Mail program that comes pre-installed on all Apple desktops and laptops. Using Apple's Mail program allows you to simplify your emails and access multiple email accounts in one setting. Once you complete some simple steps to add an email account to your Mail program, you never have to provide your password or log-in information again, nor do you have to access your email through additional third-party websites.

Tips & Warnings
If you are adding multiple email accounts from the same Internet service provider, you can assign them nicknames by clicking on "Mail" - "Preferences" - "Accounts" and adding the nickname under the "Description" section. You can arrange the order of multiple email accounts by clicking on the name of the account and dragging it to the desired location.
If you do not know your incoming or outgoing mail server, do not proceed with this process. Contact your service provider for this information. Adding an email account with an inaccurate incoming or outgoing mail service may result in some of your emails not being sent or received.
