How to Install Yahoo Messenger 5.0

Yahoo Messenger is a program that can be used to connect with others over the Internet. There have been many changes to the program through the years, and thus, there have been numerous different versions of Yahoo Messenger. Yahoo Messenger 5.0 may have been your favorite version of the program. Unfortunately, Yahoo Messenger 5.0 can no longer be downloaded from the Yahoo website. By visiting the Old Apps website, though, you can download and install previous versions of Yahoo Messenger, including version 5.0.

Instructions

1. Go to the "Messengers" page on the Old Apps website.

2. Scroll down until you see the "Yahoo Messenger" link. Click this link.

3. Browse through the different versions of Yahoo Messenger until you find the "Yahoo Messenger 5.0" link. Select that link.

4. Click the "Download" link underneath the "Download Old Version of Yahoo Messenger" heading on the right side of the Web page. Doing so will take you to the download link for Yahoo Messenger 5.0. Click this download link and you will be able to save the Yahoo Messenger setup file onto your computer.

5. Open the Yahoo Messenger 5.0 setup. Follow the on-screen instructions that appear to install Yahoo Messenger 5.0 onto your computer.
