How to Get a Product Key From Microsoft for Windows 98 SE
If you're using Windows 98 SE, your operating system is over a decade old. If you haven't reinstalled your operating system since the '90s, your computer is undoubtedly slower than it should be. Look for the CD case that came with your copy of Windows 98 SE. This is the easiest way to find your product key by far: the key will be written on the case. If you can't find it, don't worry---continue to the next step.

Check the computer currently running Windows 98 SE for a sticker, typically on the bottom of laptops and on the side of desktop towers. This sticker will be a rectangle explaining the version of Windows being used and include the licensing information.
