Look for the CD case that came with your copy of Windows 98 SE. This is the easiest way to find your product key by far: the key will be written on the case. If you can't find it, don't worry---continue to the next step.

Check the computer currently running Windows 98 SE for a sticker, typically on the bottom of laptops and on the side of desktop towers. This sticker will be a rectangle explaining the version of Windows being used and include the licensing information.
