Visit a Web site that offers a program that can create monophonic ringtones. An example program is Plinksoft's Ringtone Composer.

Download and install the program.

After choosing a directory for the program and installing it, open it by clicking on the shortcut icon on your desktop.

Click on "View" in the menu and select "Monophonic Ringtone."

Click on the "Keyboard" in the section marked "Melody." This will display a graphic of a keyboard with virtual keys that can be pushed to create a monophonic ringtone.

Click on the button marked "Save" to save your ringtone. The ringtone can now be uploaded to your phone.
