With the immense surge of people seeking further education, every capacity of the teaching profession is high demand. A teaching resume should be specific to the job type and age level that you are applying to teach. Here's how to write a teacher resume.

1. Write about your qualifications and where you got your teaching certificate and degrees.

   A teaching resume should include where you got your certification and when. It should specify which ages you are qualified to work for and any specializations you may have.

2. Detail your past teaching jobs.

   A large part of getting a teaching job relies on your past experience in the field. If you have any experience in the classroom, whether it be paid or internship based, list it on your teaching resume.

3. List your specialized training or any programs that you are well rehearsed in.

   If you are trained in special education or any specific subject, list it on your teaching resume.

4. Add references that can vouch for your teaching abilities.

   If you have any fellow teachers or a principle that will be able to verify that you are a capable and qualified professional, add their name and contact information to the bottom of your teaching resume. It is best to keep your references relevant to those you have in the teaching field.
