    If you have just joined a gym and began an exercise regiment muscle soreness can be hell. You have stiffness and aching in your muscles and it can hurt just to move around. How can you prevent muscle soreness? A number of different methods are effective when trying to prevent muscle soreness and spasms after intense exercise.
    The first thing you can do is know your limit. Do not go to the gym the first day and act like your one day away from a body building contest. You need to start slow. Take your time to find what level you are currently at and improve at a gradual pace.
