Lots of people love a nice fragrance, and incense or perfume oils are one way to get them. They are also convenient to take off if you are meeting with someone who is sensitive to fragrances. In this how to I will explain how to make one!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • your favorite chain, handmade necklace, or even ribbon or leather strap to tie as a necklace.
  • incense bottle with cork for a stopper
  • eyelet for the cork if not available already
  • your choice of fragrance oil
  1. Step 1

Go to your local craft shop or section and look for tiny bottles with corks in them. They are with the jewelry charms. Most of them have eyelets already in the cork so you can string them on a necklace. You can also find lovely bottles on etsy in all shapes sizes and styles while supporting do it yourself crafters!

  2. Step 2

Take the bottle of your choice and decide how simple or elaborate you would like to make it. Do you want just a clear glass bottle or would you like something more decorative?

  3. Step 3

If decorative is the way you want to go, you can decorate or adorn your bottle with stick on jewels, or even mold a flower or other design around the bottle with polymer clay and bake it in the oven, then make sure it is secured with glue. Your imagination is the limit! I have even seen leather pouch like holders sewn around the bottles. When you are done decorating fill the bottle with your favorite fragrance and cork.

  4. Step 4

If simple is more your style, then simply fill with your favorite fragrance!

  5. Step 5

Last string your bottle on to the necklace of your choice, and enjoy! The cork acts as a wick and allows yummy fragrance to gradually release around you, with the option of removing it if need be.

  6. Step 6

Enjoy the convenience of your removable (and fashionable) Fragrance necklace!
