Instructions

    • 1

Read the care label on the towel before laundering it. Washing and drying in extremely high heat will cause shrinkage. You don't want to damage something you invested so much money in.

    • 2

Separate the dark color towels from the lighter color ones and wash them separately. Again make sure you read the care label on the towel.

    • 3

Add only half the amount of detergent that the detergent manufacturer recommends for a normal wash cycle. Your towels will wind up absorbing the detergent, which will leave reside that won't fully rinse out during the rinse cycle of your machine. Wash your luxury towels in warm water.

    • 4

Add 1 cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle about once a month. This will break up the built-up detergent and improve absorbency.

    • 5

Dry the towels on a lower heating setting than normal. Make sure not to overdry them. Check the dryer and remove your towels when they feel crisp but not damp.

    • 6

Hang the towel over a rod to dry after showering or bathing. Never throw a damp towel into a hamper. It will grow mold and mildew.

Tips & Warnings

  • Never wash your towels with your clothes as the lint from the towels will adhere to your clothes.

  • Never wash your towels with anything that has a zipper -- even a mesh laundry bag -- because the zipper will snag the towels.

  • Do not use fabric softener. It will reduce the towel's absorbency.
