1
Fly to the UAE with your passport in hand. You will automatically receive a travel visa if you are a resident of certain countries (see Resources). Upon arrival, present your passport to obtain a cost-free visit visa, which is good for a single visit of up to 30 days. No additional forms are needed.

2
Ask your travel agent, local hotel or airline to sponsor your travel visa to the UAE if you are a citizen of any of the countries of origin required to have sponsorships (see Resources). The UAE government requires visitors from these countries to be "sponsored by" a company or organization that can verify the passenger's travel arrangements. This is customary practice for companies operating locally, and is typically done for a nominal processing fee. Once your agent applies on your behalf, your visa will be authorized and attached to your travel itinerary, valid for trips up to 30 days.

Visit the consular location in your country or the closest to your home (see Resources) if your country is not mentioned on the lists provided for use in Steps 1 or 2. If you are a citizen of one of these other countries, you'll be required to submit the visa fee in person, along with the application form to obtain your travel visa.
