How to Use OmniForm
OmniForm is a software program created by Nuance that allows you to turn hard copies of forms into electronic forms with ease. With the software you can scan hard copies of your forms into the OmniForm program, create new forms and email those forms to people who need to access and complete them.

Visit the Nuance website to purchase, download and install the OmniForm software onto your computer. In 2009, the software cost around $100 for the basic version.

Connect your scanner to your computer using the appropriate cables. Power on the scanner.

Launch OmniForm by clicking on your Windows "Start" button. Choose "OmniForm" from the list of available programs.

Select the "Form Assistant" option on your program's toolbar. Once the Form Assistant opens, you can choose the option to perform tasks such as scanning and printing a form. You can also choose to create a new form from scratch or continue working on a previous form.

Place a copy of your form onto your scanner. Select the "Scan Form" option under "Sources" to scan your form. Click on the option "Setup Scanner." Select "Paper Size" for the form you will be scanning and hit "OK" to scan your form. Click on "File" from your menu bar and hit "Save" to save the form.

Create a new form by clicking on "File" and then "New" from the menu bar. To open a previous form for editing, click on "File" and "Open." Select the form you want to edit.

Mail the form to others by clicking on "Tools" and then "Options." Choose the email program you want to use to send the form. Click "OK" and choose the form you want to send.
