Instructions

Select a wedding date eight to 12 months ahead of time and call Disney Weddings to reserve a date. Order a free DVD and brochure from the Disney Weddings website. Work on a guest list, and inform anyone who might have to travel that you're planning on holding the ceremony at Walt Disney World.

Determine which of Disney's three wedding packages best suits you. Disney offers Wishes, Couture or Escape weddings. More elaborate, customized weddings fall into the Wishes category, while smaller affairs (no more than18 people) fall into the Escape category. Couture weddings are designed for the "sophisticated and modern couple" who want to have a "celebrity-styled" affair. Register on the official website and create a Wish Book.

    • 3

Arrange a "Planning Session" with your wedding consultant about four to six months before the wedding. If you're not able to travel to Walt Disney World for a meeting in-person, work with your consultant over the phone or by e-mail. Finalize the details for flowers, entertainment, photography, food and officiants. Final prices will be available at this stage.

    • 4

Pay for your Disney wedding in full one month before the wedding. Changes made after this point will be subject to a cancellation fee.

    • 5

Travel to Disney World for your wedding. On the day before your wedding, make sure everyone has arrived and go over any last-minute details with your planner.
