Explains how to easily remove grease stains off your walls and other surfaces.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Most likely you would not have this problem at the house you live in,but if you have a rental house, apartment or trailer this most likely will occur.I know because this has happened to me,in 1 of my rentals. There are people that just don't care about keeping the house they are renting clean.Below I will mention how to clean off dried on grease from your walls and other surfacs.

  2. Step 2

The materials you will need is a scrub pad, because you will be doing a lot of scrubbing, plastic tarp, goggles to protect your eyes, work gloves and paint thinner. To start out with the dried grease removel is move the stove out of the way so you can clean behind it.Once the stove is moved.Put the plastic tarp down on the floor so you don't ruin the floor.

  3. Step 3

Put on your work gloves, get the scrub pad and paint thinner and apply some paint thinner to the scrub pad and lightly apply the paint thinner to the wall(s),stove, floor or wherever the dried grease is.The reason why you apply a light coat first is so the paint this can soften up the dried on grease.

  4. Step 4

While you applied the light coat of paint thinner to one area, move to another area and while you are applying a light coat to this area the first areas dried on grease is softening up.After applying all light coats on all the areas.Go back to the first area you worked on.Now you are going to apply more paint thinner to the scrub pad and you are going to scrub the areas.Start from the first area,2nd,3rd and so on.You do it this way just so the light coats can soften up the grease.

  5. Step 5

After the scrubbing wash those areas off with hot water and a clean rag. Then you may need to scuff sand and reapply paint
