Step 1
Take a decision of conviction to follow truth. For the quest to find the Holy Grail is akin to the quest for truth.

Maintain an open mind. This is essential. Only by allowing your mind to be flexible can you receive new truths about the Holy Grail.

Step 3
Be pure in heart and spirit, for the Holy Grail is only visible to those with spiritual purity. The ancient legends about the Holy Grail told that it would be found by the pure in heart, and this does indeed seem to be the case. So be pure, or as close to pure as you can get; this means becoming as close to truth - and ethical truth as you can get.

Step 4
Avoid falsehoods. There are many falsehoods about the Grail, notably those put about by books such as The Da Vinci Code and Holy Blood and the Holy Grail. Remember step 1 - to follow the truth. These books claimed that the Grail was the bloodline of Christ, through his relationship with Mary Magdalene. Ask yourself - is this found by the pure in heart? Does it lead to enlightenment, as legends foretold? If we follow the truth it is clear that the bloodline of christ cannot be the holy grail.
