If you are looking for ways to use up all that leftover turkey from Thanksgiving or Christmas then here are some simple ways to serve it that everyone will enjoy.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Make up some turkey salad for sandwiches. Leftover turkey makes great turkey salad. Dice leftover white meat into cubes; add chopped celery, a little salt, pepper and onion powder and add just enough mayonnaise to moisten for a delicious spread. Serve with leftover cranberry sauce on the side.

  2. Step 2

Make hot turkey sandwiches. Cut up leftover turkey and put it in leftover gravy from yesterdays dinner for delicious hot turkey sandwiches. To assemble, place a slice of bread on a plate and cover with a little bit of the gravy. Top with a second slice of bread and add spoon over more gravy.

  3. Step 3

Use leftover turkey in your favorite chicken recipes. Chicken and turkey are pretty much interchangeable so try leftover turkey in your favorite recipes that call for cooked chicken such as chicken potpie, chicken casseroles and homemade soup.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always refrigerate leftovers within one to two hours of eating. Immediately after dinner remove the meat from the bones. Discard the carcass or use as a base for a delicious turkey broth for homemade soup. Check the resource section below for directions.
