Step 1
Ok hopefully this will work for you. It worked for me. I heard a lot of different ways and versions that other people had either heard of or tried themselves. But none of them sounded right for me. I heard put them in underwear and when they went to the bathroom in their underwear, the wet underwear feeling would make them want to go in the potty because they would not want it on them. And that just might work, but I just couldn't imagine cleaning up the mess. YUCK. Way too much EXTRA work.

Step 2
I wanted something fast, and easy. It had to work and not be messy. Messy is not my thing. So I would take the potty chair and put it ~ are you ready ~ in the living room. I know, I know, it sounds nasty, but I would at least put it on newspaper or towel or even a blanket. Something absorbent, just in case. And the way I did it just wouldn't work in the bathroom. The living room was the place where we were the most and it had the most to keep her ~ yes this was used for my daughter ~ occupied. So I would put her on the potty chair in the living room. I would have her sit there until she went to the bathroom. I know almost sounds like child torture right. But she didn't mind. She would color, and read, and watch TV, and play with toys. I admit sounds a little unsanitary, but the ~dirty~ part of her would be in the potty so nothing else got dirty. So she would sit there and when she went to the bathroom, I would wipe her and put a clean diaper on her. Empty the potty chair and clean it out. She would play for awhile and 10~15 minutes later I would sit her back on it and do it all over again.

Step 3
This took a week maybe a little longer. It worked perfectly. She never once wet the bed. She never once peed her pants or had any type of accident.
