How to Make Easy Sticky Buns (Monkey Bread)
For a breakfast for company, children or teenage friends, or for a quick snack, try this easy sticky bun recipe. Using refrigerated biscuits cuts the preparation time down to just a few minutes, and the combination of cinnamon, butter and sugar is always a crowd favorite. This recipe serves about ten. Things You'll Need
- 3 cans of refrigerated biscuits
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) of margarine or butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Open the biscuit packages, separate the biscuits, then using a knife and a cutting board cut each one into fourths.

In a large saucepan combine the margarine or butter, brown sugar, water, cinnamon and optional nuts. Heat the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Once the mixture boils, turn off the heat.

Gently stir the biscuit quarters into the glaze, making sure each piece is well coated.

Pour the biscuit quarters into a greased bundt pan and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Or, pour the biscuit quarters into a greased 9x13 pan and bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. The bundt pan presentation is prettier, but the 9x13 pan cooks faster.

Tips & Warnings
If the sticky buns seem to be browning too quickly, cover the pan with a piece of aluminum foil for the rest of the baking time.
Use a fork to poke down into the bundt cake pan to see if the middle of the sticky buns are completely baked.
