If you have recently given birth, are pregnant, overweight, or recently lost weight, you may need to know how to get rid of stretch marks. There are many things that you can do now to reduce, eliminate or prevent stretch marks. You can use massage, lotions and oils to fight your stretch marks.
Use lanolin or a lotion that is primarily lanolin to rub on your stretch marks. You can also rub it on the skin that you believe may get stretch marks due to pregnancy, weight gain or weight loss.

Drink plenty of water everyday to keep your skin well hydrated. Dry skin is much more susceptible to damage. Drink at least twelve glasses of water every day depending on your weight and calorie intake. The average person that weighs about 150 pounds and consumes 1,500 calories a day should drink twelve glasses of water throughout their day.
TAKE VITAMIN E
Take a vitamin E supplement daily. Vitamin E is essential to the vitality of your skin.
Massage or rub the area of your skin where you have stretch marks or are worried that they may occur. You do not need to pay for a professional massage, some gentle rubbing or massaging of the area will be sufficient.
Massage using a lanolin based lotion or oil for best results. Have your spouse do it for you for added pampering.
Eat healthy and exercise on a regular basis.
