How to Make Frozen Drinks With or Without Alcohol


Cold frozen smoothies and icy drinks are refreshing on hot summer days. You can use your favorite fruit and fruit juice to make a nutritious snack. Add in milk or frozen yogurt for a smoothie or milkshake. For an extra kick, add alcohol to make margaritas, pina coladas and frozen daiquiris. These drinks are perfect for summer barbeques and parties.

Things You'll Need

  • Ice
  • Fruit
  • Frozen yogurt (optional)
  • Alcohol (optional)
  • Orange juice
  • Blender
  • Chop up a cup of your favorite fruit or fruits.

  • Add 1/2 cup of orange juice to a blender, then add fruit.

  • Add a about six ice cubes for a icier drink, or 1 to 2 cups of frozen yogurt for a creamier drink.

  • Blend on pulse for one minute, or until the drink is smooth and frothy. For alcoholic drinks, add 1/4 cup of your favorite rum or vodka in before ice.
