Cold frozen smoothies and icy drinks are refreshing on hot summer days. You can use your favorite fruit and fruit juice to make a nutritious snack. Add in milk or frozen yogurt for a smoothie or milkshake. For an extra kick, add alcohol to make margaritas, pina coladas and frozen daiquiris. These drinks are perfect for summer barbeques and parties.
Things You'll Need
- Frozen yogurt (optional)
- Alcohol (optional)
- Orange juice
Chop up a cup of your favorite fruit or fruits.
Add 1/2 cup of orange juice to a blender, then add fruit.
Add a about six ice cubes for a icier drink, or 1 to 2 cups of frozen yogurt for a creamier drink.
Blend on pulse for one minute, or until the drink is smooth and frothy. For alcoholic drinks, add 1/4 cup of your favorite rum or vodka in before ice.
