How to Make the Best Tuna and Cheese Chunk Sandwich

This simple recipe for a quick tuna salad sandwich can be put together in 15 minutes.

Things You'll Need

• 1 large can tuna
• 1 can peas
• 1/4 yellow onion
• 2 oz. block cheddar cheese
• Cottage bread
• Mayonnaise

Instructions

1. Drain the tuna, rinse it thoroughly and strain it to remove all of the liquid. Place the tuna in a medium bowl and mash up any large chunks with a fork.

2. Dice the onion and cut the cheese into small cubes.

3. Strain the peas and add them to the tuna; then, mix in the diced onions and cheddar cheese cubes. Add enough mayonnaise to give the mixture a creamy texture.

4. Spread a thick layer of the mixture onto a thick slice of bread and cover with another slice. Refrigerate leftover tuna mixture for more sandwiches.
