  • 1 can peas
  • 1/4 yellow onion
  • 2 oz. block cheddar cheese

      Drain the tuna, rinse it thoroughly and strain it to remove all of the liquid. Place the tuna in a medium bowl and mash up any large chunks with a fork.

      Dice the onion and cut the cheese into small cubes.

      Strain the peas and add them to the tuna; then, mix in the diced onions and cheddar cheese cubes. Add enough mayonnaise to give the mixture a creamy texture.

      Spread a thick layer of the mixture onto a thick slice of bread and cover with another slice. Refrigerate leftover tuna mixture for more sandwiches.
