This is the absolute best Tuna Sandwich ever. The recipe is simple and it will not take you more than 15 minutes to make. This is one of my favorite quick meal recipes.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 large can of tuna packed in water
  • 1 can of peas
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 small block of cheddar cheese
  • 1 loaf of cottage bread
  • 1 jar of mayonnaise
  1. Step 1

    *Prepare your tuna.
Strain your tuna from the can. Once you strain it rinse it thoroughly and strain it one more time. Put your tuna in a medium size bowl and with a fork make sure you cut up the large chunks.

  2. Step 2

*Prepare the cheese and the onion.
Take the yellow onion and cut a forth of it off and dice that portion.
Then cut a good size chunk off of the cheese block. Cut the chunk of cheese you cut off into cubes. You can add more or less cheese or onion, depending on your personal preference.

  3. Step 3

*Mixing the Tuna and Cheese Chunk mix.
Strain your can of peas and add it to the tuna chunks in the medium size bowl. Then mix in the diced onions and cheddar cheese cubes. Begin to add mayonnaise until your mix has a creamy texture.

  4. Step 4

*Finish your Tuna and Cheese Chunk Sandwich.
Take two pieces of the cottage bread and spread a thick layer of the Tuna and Cheese Chunk mix on one piece. Then put the other piece of cottage bread on top of the mix. Cut your sandwich in half and you are ready for a great sandwich.
