Thanksgiving is a special holiday that takes place each November. Family and friends get together to give thanks for all of life's riches. Typically, a Thanksgiving dinner is prepared, and items such as turkey, potato's, green beans, cranberry sauce, casseroles and pumpkin pie are served. Creating a table center piece to sit in the middle of the table will add a touch of elegance. Your guests will be so impressed with the beautifully decorated table, you might be asked to host the Thanksgiving dinner every year.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Plate stand
  • Pillar candle
  • Faux autumn leaves
  • Apples
  • Mini pumpkins
  • Gourds
  • Cranberries
  • Scented pine cones
  • Lighter
  1. Step 1

Set the plate stand in the center of the table. A rich, warm-colored plate will look the best for the Thanksgiving theme.

  2. Step 2

Place the large, pillar candle in the middle of the plate. Dark cranberry, cream, burnt orange, or cedar green are the best color choices for your candle.

  3. Step 3

Scatter the autumn leaves around the candle. Overlap the leaves and allow some to hang off the plate slightly.

  4. Step 4

Arrange apples, mini pumpkins, gourds, cranberries and scented pine cones on top of the leaves and around the candle.

  5. Step 5

Light the candle and breathe in the spicy aroma from your Thanksgiving centerpiece.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use autumn hues in your centerpiece to celebrate the season.
