How to Make Your Own Sweatshirt

It's never been easier for businesses, organizations, and individuals to create and make their own apparel with custom graphics and logos. There are many sites online that allow individuals and groups to make sweatshirts with custom designs. Sweatshirts can be customized with images, photos, designs, and text and purchased from sites such as Zazzle, CustomInk, and CafePress in quantities as small as one piece and starting at $34.99.

  1. Step 1

    Navigate to cafepress.com. Click the "Make Custom T-Shirts and More" link from the top right-hand side of the page. Select "Customized Clothing & Hats" under "By Product Type" in the left navigation of the page.

  2. Step 2

    Browse through the custom sweatshirts. You can make your own standard sweatshirt or a hooded sweatshirt. Select the product image of the item you want to make.

  3. Step 3

    Choose a color for your sweatshirt and click "Create It."

  4. Step 4

    Choose your image. Click the "Browse" button to locate your graphic or photo. Click "Add and Review" to see a mockup of your graphic on the sweatshirt. Adjust the image size and location to suit your needs and click "Review and Order" to place your order.

  5. Step 5

    Review your sweatshirt and choose your size, color, and quantity for your order. Click "Add to Cart" to continue with your order. Review your order summary and click "Proceed to Checkout." If you are a current customer, sign in with your existing account otherwise click "Continue" under "New Customer." Enter your billing and shipping information to complete your order.
