Things You'll Need:
- 1 cup (6 ounces)Semi-Sweet Chocolate chip Morsels
- 5 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 16 large marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
- Quaker brand Oats work very well!
- 1 cup raisins,diced dried fruit,shredded coconut, nuts, marshmallows, (any combination of)

Step 1
Melt chocolate chips, butter and marshmallows in saucepan over low heat.
Stir cookie until mixture is smooth.
Do not let the chocolate burn. -
Step 2
Remove cookie mixture from heat.
Cool batter slightly.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Stir in oats and fruit combination. (asding any type of fruit is optional) -
Step 3
Drop rounds by the spoonful onto waxed paper. They will not spread unless you smash them down.
Let stand until cookies are firm.
Store in tightly covered container.
These are very moist cookies. -
Step 4
Prep time is about 20 minutes.
Cooling time is approximately 3 hours. -
