Things You'll Need:
- Black Pipe Cleaner
- Cotton Balls
- 1 Black Headband
- Small Glue Gun
- Small Glue Sticks
- 4pcs of Black Felt

Step 1
This a fast, fun and easy way to make Mickey ears. You can use them for costumes or as fun project to do with the kids.

Step 2
The first thing is to get all of your supplies out and turn on your hot glue gun

Step 3
Now take your black pipe cleaners out and mold into the shape of a mickey ear. You want both ears to look the same so mold them both around the top of a large cup leaving enough of the pipe cleaner to have the tips about 1/4in long.They should both look the same now when you put one on top of the other.

Step 4
Now you are going to get out your 4pcs of black felt Then take all 4pcs of the black felt and stack them up vertically in front of you. Place the shaped pipe cleaner on top of the stack of the black felt. Make sure that you leave about 1/4in of the tips of the pipe cleaner hanging off the bottom of the black felt. Take the scissors and cut all 4pcs out following around out side of the black pipe cleaner. Lay all 4pcs in a row in front of you.

Step 5
Now you get out your hot glue gun and take the pieces of black felt facing up and put a small bead of glue around the edge of the black felt about 1/8in from the edge. Make sure you don't put any glue along the bottom edge of the felt. Then place one of the other 3pcs of felt you cut out on top of the piece with the hot glue. Do the same thing to the other 2pcs of black felt. Now you are going to put your fingers in the opening at the bottom and pull the felt inside out so that you have smooth edges.

Step 6
Now you are going to put your 2 pcs of shaped pipe cleaners inside the 2 felt ears. Make sure that there is 1/4in of the pipe cleaners still hanging out. Now take your cotton and put as much of it inside the ears as you want. Take the glue gun and put a line of glue along the bottom in between the pipe cleaner's tips that are still hanging out of the bottom.

Step 7
This is the last part you are going to get the headband now and the 2 mikey ears that you made. At the bottom of the ears you should still have the pipe cleaner sticking out and now you want to bend them at angle to the sides. Then put a little glue on them and center them on the headband to get your Mickey ears.
If you want to do this in the girl version there is bow that you glue on at the end.
