How to Properly Apply Lipstick

Many women love the look and attention they get when they wear lipstick. Lips with color look sexy, alluring, and add to a woman's beauty. There is an art and technique to properly applying one's lipstick. Check out the following for perfect lipstick application.

Things You'll Need:

• Lipstick
• Lip Brush
• Lip Lining Pencil
• Lip Gloss

1.

   First collect the tools to properly apply lipstick to your lips. These include:
   Lip lining pencil
   Lip brush
   lipstick
   lip gloss

2. 
    
   Lipliner pencil

   Line the lips. To get started you are going to line your lips with a lip lining pencil. Once you've selected the color lipstick to apply to the lips select a lip pencil a shade or two darker than the lipstick. Outlining the lips helps to keep lipstick in place. Simply follow the shape of your lips with the pencil and blend lightly with a finger.

   Use lipbrush to apply lipstick

   Apply lipstick. Use a lip brush to apply the lipstick. I prefer this method because it is easier to control the amount of lipstick on the lips. Simply sweep the brush over the lipstick in one direction until you get the right amount of lipstick to fill in the lips. Apply the brush to lips lightly and blend into the lip pencil line.

   Lip gloss for high gloss look

   Gloss. Gloss is a girls' s best friend. Get that fab high gloss look by dabbing a bit of gloss over the lipstick in the center of your lips.

   Line lips for full sexy look

   Full sexy lips. If lips are thin and you want the look of a full sexy lip, outline lips with a lip liner pencil the same color of the lipstick, slightly outside the outer edges of lips. Blend lip line, add lipstick, add gloss to center to emphasize the fullest part of the lips.
