Origami is absolutely fabulous for creating simple, special and surprising gifts! Simple Origami folding is especially great for giving monetary gifts!

So, do you know about origami's MAGICAL powers for creating fabulous homemade gifts ...FAST (usually!)?


Make Flowers, Roses, Hearts out of money and paper. You can use 'origami' (that means paper folding) even for decorative towel folding animals.

Origami folded gifts are superb solo gifts, or their additional accessories and decorations.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Paper (tissue paper or money bills).
  • Clean fingers.
  • Clean, flat and hard surface.
  1. Step 1

    Think of the design - heart, flower, rose, etc. Go for a flat design (like heart), if you'd like to include it on/inside a gift card. Choose a multidimensional design for flower bouquets.

  2. Step 2

    Find the tutorial to follow. There are many how-to-videos and photo tutorials available, providing great explanations

  3. Step 3

    Get your paper or money bills out. Use good paper. Tissue paper for Kids to make origami crafts. Money bills for gifts.

  4. Step 4

    Do the origami folding.

  5. Step 5

    Present your gift! Use a gift card, make a bouquet or gift wrap it.

Tips & Warnings
  • Money bills are really great paper source.
  • Use good paper, not too thick or thin.
  • Fold neatly, so the outcome will be nice.
  • Do not do origami with dirty hands.
  • Avoid wrinkling the paper unnecessarily!
