Stop taking birth control pills as the high dose of estrogen has been proven to help trigger a migraine headache. Talk with your doctor about estrogen free alternative birth control methods.

Use aromatherapy to help ease migraine symptoms. Use lavender oil to give yourself a mini head and neck massage. Take a soothing bath by adding 5-7 drops of lavender oil to warm water and soak for at least 10 minutes.

Increase your caffeine intake. Eat some chocolate to help open the blood vessels and increase the flow of blood. Make yourself a hot cup of green or black tea. Have an extra cup of coffee. Take a caffeine pill to decrease the intensity of your menstrual migraine.
