1. Go on an expedition:
   
   There are many ways to search for gold. Gold is a tremendously good and safe investment so finding gold for free is an incredible prospect. One way to find gold is to pay for a share in an expedition. You pay money then go out on a boat and hope that the deep sea divers and explorers find gold in the form of sunken treasure from ships. These ships would have carried gold coins and bars.

2. Buy a metal detector:
   
   Another great way to find gold is to buy a metal detector. You can use your detector at the beach where gold may have washed up. Try visiting beaches after storms when there have been unusually high waves that may bring gold to the shoreline.

3. Visit the river of a mountain:
   
   Go sluicing and try your look at the edge of a river. Gold is often found in mountains or under ground but is then washed down rivers. Search the rivers for remnants by panning and sluicing.
