How to Create Stationery for an Email
Adding stationery to an email is a simple way to set it apart from the rest. To add your own unique look, you will need to use an email program that can use Rich Text Format, such as Microsoft Outlook. Composing a message with stationery is an easy way to spice up your email.

Open Microsoft Outlook. Once the program has launched, click on the "Actions" menu at the top of the screen. Scroll down and highlight "New Mail Message Using," and then click on "More Stationery."

Scroll through the theme list, which is located on the left-hand side of the "Themes and Stationery" window. The stationery you choose will preview on the right-hand side of the screen, next to the theme list. Click on the theme to preview it. When you have selected the one you want, click the "OK" button.

Type the email as you normally do in the new mail window. The background and fonts will automatically update to that theme for this email. When you are finished with the email, click "Send." The stationery will be applied to the email and be visible by the recipient.

Tips & Warnings
If you are using Mozilla's Thunderbird for your email, you will have to download and install the stationery add-on. Once the add-on is installed, you can click on the "Write," "Reply," or "Forward" and select "Other Stationery" for a list of stationery options.
This will only work with email editors which can see a Rich Text Format. If you use a web-based email like Gmail or Yahoo, you will not be able to create emails with stationery.
