1
Pound a stake into each corner of the property where you will position the cabin. Next, pound a stake in every eight feet along the line and nail a two-by-four horizontally between the corners and the stakes you pounded in along the edges, creating a rectangular wooden form.
-
2
Pour cement into each corner. Fill the forms all the way to the top and drag a board horizontally across the tops to smooth out any imperfections in the cement.

3
Allow the floor to dry completely, then construct rectangular wall frames with vertical studs every 24 inches. Make sure to frame in any windows or doors that you will be including and secure the frames to the floor with large lag bolts.
-
4
Enclose the entire structure with 3/4 inch thick plywood and add insulation to the inside of the walls.
-
5
Bolt the rafters to the top of the wall frames and then enclose the roof with plywood. Install tar paper on the entire roof, followed by your pick of shingles.

Tips & Warnings
Make sure to position your floor in a stable area of the property, as you do not want the cement to crack or move over time due to soil settling.
