How to Fix Motion Blur on an LCD TV

Motion blur is prominent on LCD TVs because of their low hertz and refresh rates. LCD TVs are availble in 60, 120, or 240 hertz models. Higher hertz rates produce less motion blur. The best way to reduce or eliminate motion blur is to make sure the video source is providing optimal signal. Below are ways to enhance the picture viewing experiences:

HDMI Connection

1. Subscribe to a satellite or cable company's high-definition service and be sure the receiver (cable box or satellite box) that comes with the service has at least one HDMI port.

2. Connect the receiver to the TV with an HDMI cable. Using a coaxial or composite cable will not optimize sound or video.

3. Connect a Blu-ray DVD player via HDMI cable to get the best picture from your movies.

4. HDMI cables transmit and audio and video, so there's no need for additional cables.
