How to Make a Gypsy Halloween Costume
Dress up as a gypsy for a fun and easy costume. Most of the materials can be found at home. Gypsy costumes allow you to combine as many colors as you want, no matter how loud. Customize the costume to fit the weather. If it's warm out, wear a short-sleeved blouse and don't use the leggings, for example. By adding details, like small Christmas bells to the skirt, the costume comes together.

Instructions

-
1
Sew small bells on the bottom of the shortest skirts.
-
2
Put on the shirt and leggings. Then put on the skirts, with the longest one going on first and the shorter ones layered on top. Put on the sandals.
-
-
3
Wrap a scarf around your waist and tie it at one side of the hip.
-
4
Leave your hair down, if it is long. Wrap the other scarf around the top of your hair and tie underneath in a knot.
-
5
Put on make-up. The gaudier the make-up, the better. Make your cheeks dark red and wear bright lipstick. Blue eyeshadow stands out well. Cover the whole lid when applying.
-
6
Add lots of tacky costume jewelry. Rings, necklaces, bracelets and anklets work well. Large hoop earrings work best with this costume.

Tips & Warnings
Buy the outer skirts slightly largely for a more comfortable fit. Hippie-style skirts work well. The leggings should be bright in color.
