How to Make a Strawberry Shortcake Costume
Dressing up as Strawberry Shortcake is for any age. You do not need to go out and buy a costume that you or your child will end up wearing once. You can make a Strawberry Shortcake costume without even knowing how to sew.
Things You'll Need
- Bucket-style hat or sun hat
- Pink material with strawberries
- Scissors
- Fabric glue
- Red ribbon
- Green and white striped ribbon
- Strawberry button
- Blue jeans or blue pants
- Pink, red, and green striped shirt
- Thin, red jacket
- Brown or beige shoes
- Pink wig
- Black eyeliner pencil
- Red blush

Cut the red ribbon so that it goes around the bottom of the hat and glue it on. Using the striped ribbon, tie a bow and glue it to the center of the red ribbon. Glue the strawberry button to the center of the striped bow. Allow enough time for the glue to dry.

Put on the striped shirt and blue jeans. Tie the red jacket around your waist and slip into your brown shoes.

Pull your hair up into a bun and put on the pink wig. Place the hat on your head.

Apply the red blush to your cheeks in a circular motion. Using your black eyeliner pencil, draw about six big freckles on each cheek.
