How to Get Clothing in Grand Theft Auto IV

In Grand Theft Auto IV, the main character, Niko Bellic, arrives in Liberty City with only the clothes on his back. As you advance through the game, you can buy new clothes at progressively higher-end stores. You can acquire other items during missions or just by looking around. Your appearance in Grand Theft Auto IV affects the way other characters react to you. At times, they will require you to change into a different outfit. Sometimes they will just let you know what they think about your look.

Buy clothes at the Russian Shop in Roman's neighborhood of Hove Beach. The store sells cheap, imported clothing and accessories from Europe, including track outfits and military-style hats, jackets and pants.

Once you unlock Algonquin, you can buy clothes from two different stores. One is called Modo. It is in East Holland and sells casual clothing, including shirts, jeans, and ski and golf jackets. The other is Perseus, a high-priced store that sells suits, dress clothes and expensive shoes and accessories. Perseus has two locations, Middle Park East and The Exchange.

Sometimes you can just find clothes. After completing the mission "The Holland Play," look in Playboy X's penthouse and you'll find Claude's outfit from Grand Theft Auto III. If you are touring the sites in Liberty City, you can find a souvenir shirt at the entrance of The Statue of Happiness.
