Instructions

    • 1

Use rubber mulch to cover the ground around the open garden space. Put down a layer of weed blocking material and then an inch or more of the rubber mulch, leaving enough room for the plants to grow.

    • 2

Spread rubber mulch around plants that are used as centerpieces on tables. The colorful mulch covers the soil and adds color to the table and plant. Whether the planted pot is large or small, a little mulch around the base of the plant will keep the soil moist underneath, as well.

    • 3

Enhance the sides of the driveway by adding rubber mulch. Make a 6-inch edging from the front of the driveway to the back of the driveway on each side. This will keep weeds away and make the edge of the driveway straight and free of grass or weeds.

    • 4

Make a circle around trees in the yard. Cut away the grass and lay a layer of weed blocker material down. Cover with rubber mulch and add a few potted plants to provide more color.

    • 5

Use rubber mulch around the base of the house to keep weeds away. Use some wood timbers to make an edge and place 1 to 2 inches of rubber mulch down on top of weed blocking material. Place some potted plants on top of the mulch for a potted garden.
