Step 1
Visit the Habbo website. Select the option to register for a free user account. During the registration process, you will need to create enter a unique username, password, email address and your date of birth. You will also need to select an avatar to represent your online personality and choose a background for your Habbo room.

Log into your Habbo account. Click on the "My Page" tab. Select the option to "Edit" your home page.

Click on the "Inventory" link to change the background for your homepage. You can also customize your homepage here by adding "Widgets" such as a guestbook, page badge, music player, stickers to go on your page, and a notes section. None of these customization features require any technical knowledge. Simply click on the item you want to add to your page and click "Place" so that it appears on your page.

Purchase "Habbo Coins" to add other items to your homepage that are not listed for free in the "Inventory" section. For instance, some of the stickers, furniture and music tracks will cost you coins. You can purchase 35 coins for around $5 by clicking on the "Web Store" link that is located under the "My Page" tab.

Change the appearance of the boxes that are on your Habbo homepage by clicking the "Gear" that is located in the right hand corner of each box. For example, you can make the boxes appear as a bubble, golden frame, notepad or metal.

Arrange the items on your home page by dragging and dropping the boxes where you want them to appear. Click on the "Save Changes" option to save all of the changes made to your page.

Promote your Habbo website by submitting your web address to search engines. Your web address will appear as "habbo.com/home/yourusername."
