How to Make Glass Candle Lanterns

Make your own glass lanterns for candles out of jars you find around the house. Any type of jar will work. Not only is reusing old jars cheaper than purchasing candle lanterns, it creates less landfill waste. Hang the lanterns outside, or set them on the ground. The tissue paper makes the light form the candle look like a soft glow. Darker colored tissue paper creates a more muted glow, which is ideal for romantic lighting.
