How to Find Facts About the Day You Were Born

Your birthday is generally an important time, and you'll enjoy the attention from your family and friends. Many other people have the same birthday and some famous events likely took place on that date in history. It is always interesting to see what happened on your birthday.

• Internet access

Instructions

1. Log onto your web browser. It will be much easier to find out what happened on your birthday using the internet.

2. Navigate to a site such as "History.com/this-day-in-history" or "Infoplease.com/dayinhistory." These sites specialize in showcasing what took place on your birthday, from the past to the present.

3. Type in your birthday month and date in the "Enter a Date" box. Select "Go" and the events of your birthday will be displayed on the screen.

4. Click on the events to display the events in greater detail. The History.com website will have a special video just for some of the events on your birthday.
