Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • To pay attention to designated drivers actions for 15 minutes or so
  • brief eye contact
  1. Step 1

The first step in recognizing if friend is intoxicated is eye contact. Look at your friends eyes are they glossy? Do the eye have less motion (meaning this person might not blink or look away from immediate view)

  2. Step 2

Step two is more obvious, swaying or unable to keep a straight line, wobbling. Another visible sign is gestures. Does your friend start to swing hair over shoulder instead of brushing it back with hand? Has your friend started leaning on his arm and his hand is swaying downward a little? Every women feels pettier as she becomes intoxicated and every male will drop their hand while leaning.

  • Do not get into a vehicle with anyone you suspect has been drinking
  • Use your own judgement do not believe anyone that says they only had one or two. One could mean one pitcher of beer, one keg, or worse one liter of liquor
  • Protect your life and the lives of others, we only get one chance.
