-
Step 5
Step Five: Arrange a meeting—someplace where you won’t be interrupted. The best place would be a place where you will feel in control—such as your home, your workplace or a neutral area such as a quiet restaurant..
-
Step 6
Step Six: The Meeting. Begin what you want to say and when you’re talking, be sure to keep eye contact. Explain as best as you can, how you feel and why you feel the way you do. Then, listen to what the other person has to say. Hold fast to what you believe; don’t waver and agree with the other side. When necessary, use your solutions that you wrote down.
Continue on expressing how you feel and why you want change.
Do not give up your argument presentation. Keep communicating and listening until you have the desired results—change in the other’s behavior.
