Things You'll Need:
- Time
- Patience
-
Step 1
Buy a few different types of bottles so your baby can try them. Babies have their own specific preference and you will learn this as time goes by. Do not stick to just one bottle, let them try out a few before you spend your money on a whole bunch of the same thing.
-
Step 2
Once the baby has made the decision as to what bottle he/she wants, start stocking up on that bottle. Buy at least ten of the same bottle just in cause you lose one while your out or at someone's house.
-
Step 3
Picking plastic or glass bottles is purely up to the parent. Plastic is definitely the cheaper way to go, however glass bottles last longer as long as you keep them from breaking. Glass is also easier to clean and sterilize, opposed to the plastic bottles.
-
Step 4
Now you have to choose which nipples to buy. There are so many out there on the market these days, that it is very wise that you choose the right one. You have your choice of either latex or silicone, latex are definitely softer but will not last as long as silicone nipples. Choose wisely.

Step 5
Now it is time to get all the accessories for your bottles. Sterilizers, drying racks, cleaning brushes and insulated carrying totes. Visit your local baby store and ask an associate what will best fit your needs.
