Gather your ingredients. Depending on which type of flavor you'd like your smoothie to have, and choose the fruits based on that. There's nothing worse than craving something only to find out that you don't have the ingredients to make it. A good dairy free component of this fruit smoothie is almond milk. It comes in different types and flavors, but for this smoothie, low fat organic vanilla is used.

Skip the ice. It will only water down your fruit smoothie. Use frozen fruit to keep it cold and frosty. Even though it is not normally refrigerated, the almond milk tastes great cold and helps to keep this fruit smoothie chilled.

  3. Step 3
    Blend it up!

Pour ½ cup of low fat organic vanilla almond milk in the blender. Add one medium banana, ½ cup frozen blackberries, ½ cup frozen sliced strawberries, ½ frozen mango chunks. If you can find organic fruit, that's even better. Blend it all together until very smooth and pour it into a glass. If there is a bit left over, freeze it for a tasty sorbet treat for later!
